The "Weaponsguild Homebuilt Challenge".

There are (4) categories and (12) winners.

First prize (for each category) is $300 Prexis* credit, $50 cash, and a "homebuilt challenge" Gold medal under their user ID.
Second prize (for each category) is $100 Prexis credit and a "homebuilt challenge" Silver medal under their user ID.
Third prize (for each category) is a "homebuilt challenge" Bronze medal under their user ID.

The (4) categories will be.

(2) HomeBrew Categories: (builds "not" requiring the use of mills/lathes)
HomeBrew Long gun build
HomeBrew Pistol build
(Clarification... you can use a mill/lathe for custom parts "if" necessary.. but keep in mind voting will be partially on "I think I can build this myself", so don't get carried away)

(2) ShopBrew Categories: (builds requiring the use of mills/lathes)
ShopBrew Long gun build
ShopBrew Pistol build

Build timeframe: 3 months (April 1st through June 30th)

Winners to be selected by a "Poll Thread" that will be posted at the end of the build period and voted on by members for 1 month. (Month of July)

Rules:
Must be "Homebuilt" designs from either all homemade parts or by mixing parts from a min. of 3 different weapons. (except barrels)
Member must "name" their build and start a thread under the "Homebuilt Challenge" board and then post a picture of their finished build in the "Finished build" thread (it will be created during the last month)
Build threads must contain pictures and narrative of the build through the building process.
ALL builds must be "legal" semi-only builds. No FA builds.

Voting to be based on:
Creativity, appearance, and most importantly "I think I can build that myself"...

Rule Update: Entries must be built during the "Challenge" time frame. This is to be fair to all members that are working against the deadline to complete their builds. So, if you have an entry in the works (even if just sketches at this time, please post it)
